Estoril Congress Center
Boasting a privileged location on the Estoril coast, 25 km away from Lisbon airport, and right next to the famous Casino Estoril, with its surrounding gardens and sea view, the Estoril Congress Center is the ideal venue for all types of corporate, institutional, cultural and social events.
The Estoril Congress Center is the only venue in Portugal certified as a Green Venue (EarthCheck’s Gold Certification) for its good environmental practice and commitment to sustainable business. It was designed to be widely flexible, with different means of use and state-of-the-art technology and is suitable to host all types of event and several activities simultaneously, therefore is perfect for hosting Science on Stage Festival.
Facilities
Hall
1440 m2. A modern and versatile area, that can be adapted to all types of event, with a unique architectural symbiosis between high glass walls to the exterior, wooden and steel beams, and natural light.
Auditorium
605 seats in an amphitheater. The stage is fully visible, ensuring spectators’ comfort. There is a lift platform backstage and a platform lift for people with reduced mobility. There are other support venues next to the auditorium, such as dressing rooms, reception, media centre and VIP room, allowing exclusive access for artists and speakers, away from the audience.
Modular Rooms
21 multipurpose rooms with natural light and capacity to house from 10 to 300 people. With removable walls, the rooms can be easily configured to meet the needs of the event.
Foyer
This is the space at the entrance to the Auditorium. Has direct access to the outdoor terrace.
Terrace
The level 2 outdoor terrace has an area of 225 m2 and boasts a fantastic view over the Casino gardens.
Indoor car park
160 spaces for public parking.
